About

We started Novyant because the world has to become more efficient.

Every hour of repeated work is an hour you pay for twice. What to do about it is rarely obvious, even when the problem is in plain sight. For a long time the fix cost more than the problem. That is no longer true.

Why we started

Almost nobody knows what can be fixed now.

The decision flipsCost to replace the systemCost of living with it2023Today

You know where the work snags in your own operation. What is harder to see is what can be done about it today, because that changed fast: three years ago the fix was a year-long project and a team of twelve. Now a small team ships it in a quarter.

Nobody running an operation has a spare day to keep up with that, and that gap is why we started. We are a young team that works with these tools daily, so we can tell you what already holds up in production, what does not yet, and what each option costs.

The answer is usually closer than you expect. Plenty of projects that could not be justified then are worth doing now, and almost nobody has run those numbers again. Novyant exists to run them, and then to build.

The practice

Boston, and wherever the operation runs.

  • Based in Boston

Our office is here, and that does not limit where a project happens. We are with you in person when it helps, and online when it does not.

  • Small teams, direct contact

No account managers in between. The person you talk to first designs the system and answers the phone after go-live.

  • It ends in production

Every project finishes with software somebody depends on to do their job, and with us accountable for keeping it working.

Working with us

Less repeated work, and a view of the whole operation.

A project with us gives back the hours you currently pay for twice, and puts the whole operation on one screen. It shows up in margin, in capacity, and in how long a decision takes.

It does not end at handover. We stay to improve the system alongside the team using it, because that is where a project is won or lost.
